Equipment characteristics
The raw water enters through the water inlet pipe, and is evenly distributed by the water distributor, then flows upward through the filter bed and is discharged from the filtrate discharge port. The filter material with contaminants intercepted at the bottom is lifted by the air lift pump to the sand washer at the top of the filter. After cleaning, it returns to the surface of the filter bed and enters the next cycle.
The filter material cleaning water is directly taken from the filtrate in the filter, and no special cleaning water is needed.
The filter material is in a counter-current movement state relative to the water to be treated, so it can play a stirring role. When the coagulant is input in the raw water, the coagulation process can be completed directly in the tank.
Since no additional flocculation, clarification and air floatation devices are required, the overall volume of the conventional filtration system is reduced by 70-80%.
The continuous operation mode adopted means that ancillary equipment such as backwash pumps, automatic backwash valves, backwash control systems, etc. can be eliminated, and maintenance and maintenance costs are reduced.
The entire set of filters only need to be equipped with an air compressor, without other power loss.
