The continuous sand filter is composed of a concrete filter tank, a flange-connected feed, filter discharge, flushing water discharge and discharge. The active sand filter contains a stainless steel feed pipe, feed distributor, filter sand guide hopper, and air lift pump casing.
Equipment characteristics
Since the quartz sand filter material is in a top-down movement state in the filter, it acts on the raw water, so the stirring flocculation can be completed in the filter. Because the filter material in the filter is clean and timely, it can withstand a higher concentration of influent pollutants. The special internal structure of the active sand filter and its own characteristics can make the coagulation, clarification and filtration all completed in the same tank body.

Working principle
The contaminated filter material at the bottom of the filter is lifted to the sand scrubber at the top of the filter through the air lift pump, and the contaminants are separated from the active sand through the turbulent action, and the impurities are discharged through the cleaning water outlet. The bed thus completes the continuous filtration.
The raw water enters the inside of the filter through the water inlet pipe, is evenly distributed by the water distributor, and upwardly circulates through the filter material layer to complete flocculation and filtration. The filtrate collects and overflows in the upper part of the filter. In this process, the raw water is filtered, and the content of pollutants in the water decreases; at the same time, the content of pollutants in the quartz sand increases, and the content of pollutants in the lower filter material layer is higher than that in the upper filter material. The air lift pump located in the center of the filter lifts the quartz sand with contaminants in the bottom layer to the sand washer at the top of the filter for cleaning under the action of the air compressor. After cleaning, it returns to the filter bed and simultaneously removes the pollutants generated by the cleaning Efflux.
The control system of active sand filter pool includes pneumatic control system and electric control system. The pneumatic control system controls the air flow and air pressure of the air sand pump. The electric control system provides manual and automatic control for the active sand filtration system, provides power and displays alarms to ensure the safe operation of the reclaimed water system, and completes the equipment linkage and fully automatic operation in the reuse water workshop.
