4.Working principle
The principle of nutrient removal by substrate was analyzed for the adsorption performance of nutrients, which provided a reference for the treatment of highly polluted river water with integrated river water purification equipment in the future.
1). The integrated river water purification equipment removes the suspended solids in the water. The suspended solids can be original in water and mixed in during use, or generated during treatment. Sediment, bacteria, viruses, algae and protozoa cysts are common suspended solids in natural water. The content of suspended solids is basically reflected by the turbidity and microbial parameters of water. The treatment of drinking water is basically the removal of suspended solids, so turbidity and coliform are two important parameters of drinking water quality. Although there is no suspended solid in drinking water, it is difficult to do so technically, so drinking water is still allowed to have certain turbidity and coliform.
2). Remove dissolved solids in water. The removal of dissolved solids is indicated by a decrease in the total dissolved solids or electrical conductivity of the water. Generally speaking, there is no problem of removing dissolved solids in the treatment of drinking water. Only when the salt content of raw water is higher than the allowable value of drinking water, can some dissolved solids be removed to meet the requirements of drinking water. For the industrial water that needs high purity water, it must be close to the degree of dissolving body removal.
3). Remove some or several dissolved components that are harmful to water. The treatment of drinking water often encounters such problems, such as the removal of iron, manganese, fluorine or arsenic in raw water. The softening treatment of removing calcium and magnesium ions from water also belongs to this kind of treatment.
4). Remove dissolved organic matter in water. Humus is the main organic matter in natural water, which is the main cause of chromaticity. A large number of organic matters in water are mainly caused by pollution. The concentration and removal effect of these organic matters are shown by the reduction of BOD, TOC, UV absorbance and other parameters.
5). Adjust the water quality to improve its quality, so as to prevent harm in the use process. The common hazards are the corrosion of water to the pipe or container materials and the generation of sediment. Water quality regulation is often solved by adding some chemicals to the water to control the water quality behavior. Corrosion control agent is called corrosion inhibitor, and scale control agent is called scale inhibitor. Sometimes, the purpose of tempering treatment is to remove the components of corrosion or sediment in water.
