Continuous back wash sand filter is based on the principle of countercurrent. The raw water to be processed passes through the water inlet pipe and enters the filter tank through the water distributor at the bottom of the filter. The water flows from the bottom to the top of the filter bed, and the filtered fluid collects on the top of the filter. And flow out through the overflow port. During this process, SS and TP in the sewage are trapped by the sand bed, and the content of pollutants in the quartz sand filter increases, and the content of pollutants in the lower filter layer is higher than that in the upper layer.

Super Sand Continuous Backwash Sand Filter Equipment characteristics
Continuous back wash sand filter adopts a modular processing mode, which can flexibly adapt to sewage filtration of different scales. It can be installed in an integrated concrete pool on a large scale or independently installed in the form of a tank.
The filter material that intercepts the dirt is lifted by the air lift pump at the bottom of the filter to the sand washer at the top of the filter. Through turbulence, pollutants are separated from the filter material, impurities are discharged through the flushing outlet, and the clean sand is returned to the sand by its own weight. The bed is filtered, and the sand washing wastewater is discharged through a special pipeline.
Sewage purification and sewage sand cleaning are performed at the same time, so the filtration system can be continuously operated without interference, and labor costs are greatly reduced. There are no moving parts in the filter tank, which greatly reduces equipment failures and makes the system easier to maintain.
