4.Working principle
In general, the result of this tendency to a stable state will be a solid substance: this solid substance will exist in a non colloidal or non dissolved state, so it is easy to be removed by subordinate separation technology.
In the process of electronic flocculation, the current is introduced into the water to be treated through the plates made of different metal materials. The selection of metal materials is related to the types of pollutants in the water to be treated, so as to meet the maximum removal effect of pollutants. According to Faraday's law, the metal ions on the electrode will be separated or replaced into the liquid medium. After forming metal oxides, these metal ions will be attracted and combined by various pollutants that have broken the stable state, forming the above-mentioned solid substances that are easy to be separated and precipitated
When sewage passes through the electronic flocculation system, a unique electronic chemical process will occur, including:
-Charge coacervation:
When the electrode plate is electrified, it will generate electric charge, which will attract the surrounding small particles, break the original stable state of the material, and change the polarity of the particles so that the small particles can bond with each other to form new large particles, which is easy to precipitate.
-Demulsification:
The current decomposes H2O into oxyhydrogen ions. These hydrogen and oxygen ions combine with the hydrogen and oxygen ions in dissolved emulsified oil, sludge, dye and other molecules to form water molecules. At the same time, oil, sludge, dye and other molecules are replaced to form insoluble substances and precipitate.
-Forming halogen complex:
When the plate is electrified, metal ions will be produced at the same time. These metal ions combine with chloride ions in chlorinated hydrocarbons in sewage to form a complex that is easy to precipitate. The pollutants removed include pesticides, herbicides, chlorinated PCBs, etc.
- Bleaching:
Oxygen ions produced around the plate also have a bleaching effect.
-Electronic flooding:
A large number of electron flow in water can eliminate the polarity of hydrate, make colloid free and precipitate, and the increase of electric charge will form osmotic pressure and kill bacteria, cytoviruses and so on.
