1.Electrocoagulation for spent coolant introduction

This is a process of breaking the stable state of suspended, floating or dissolved pollutants in water by introducing current into the water. The electric energy generated by the current flowing into the water will drive the chemical reaction between substances. When the chemical reaction is driven or forced to start, various components and compounds will tend to find the most stable state under the action of current. In general, the result of this tendency to a stable state will be a solid substance: this solid substance will exist in a non colloidal or non dissolved state, so it is easy to be removed by subordinate separation technology.

4.Working principle

In the process of electronic flocculation, the current is introduced into the water to be treated through the plates made of different metal materials. The selection of metal materials is related to the types of pollutants in the water to be treated, so as to meet the maximum removal effect of pollutants. According to Faraday's law, the metal ions on the electrode will be separated or replaced into the liquid medium. After forming metal oxides, these metal ions will be attracted and combined by various pollutants that have broken the stable state, forming the above-mentioned solid substances that are easy to be separated and precipitated.

Comparison with traditional flocculation and sedimentation methods:

Because the electronic flocculation method can remove a large number of pollutants by a single operation, it has significant environmental and economic advantages for industrial, civil and municipal projects. The initial investment and operation cost are much lower than that of chemical flocculation. In most projects, users can recover costs within one year. In wastewater treatment project, chemical flocculation method is used to add additional chemicals to change the physical state of dissolved and suspended pollutants in wastewater, so as to promote the separation and removal of these substances. The inherent defect of most chemical flocculation methods is that this is a process of adding new substances to the original wastewater: adding these chemicals not only increases the cost; more importantly, first, this method increases the content of dissolved substances in the treated water, so it can not be reused; in addition, this method will generate a lot of sludge like sediments (generated by electronic flocculation method The precipitate is only 0.5% of the chemical method), so users need to further treat these precipitates, which also increases the cost of this method.

Compared with chemical flocculation and common sedimentation, the wastewater treated by electronic flocculation is cleaner.
