The Membrane Sheets are composed of MBR with a vertically placed support plate as a sandwich. The air bubbles continuously entering from the aeration tube at the bottom of the membrane element effectively clean the membrane surface. Because of this mechanism, the activated sludge is not easy to deposit on the surface of the membrane, thus ensuring the stable operation of the filtration.

(1) Membrane structure
