French President Visits China Sewage Treatment Plant
Oct 13,2018
Hollande went to inspect the Tang Jiatuo sewage treatment plant in Chongqing.
The sewage treatment plant was developed by Chongqing Water Assets Management Co., Ltd. in cooperation with Suez Environmental Group of France. The first stop was chosen at the sewage treatment plant because Olander's second visit to China was a green tour.
After leaving the sewage treatment plant, President Olander and President Xi Jinping issued a joint statement on climate change between China and France, reiterating their conviction that climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing mankind and requires all countries to work together in the framework of sustainable development in the common interest.
Orlando's green trip, hosting the conference, was more than just a statement, he said, introducing more than 40 French entrepreneurs accompanying him: "Every business with me has started environmental protection projects."
China is facing severe environmental problems. Together with 24,000 Chinese environmental enterprises, the foreign environmental enterprises represented by France's Suez and Veolia have taken a fancy to China's environmental industry.
"China's economic growth is slowing down, but the pace is still fast." In a television interview in August, Jean-Louis Chaussade, CEO of Suez Group, told Bloomberg: "There will be increasing demand for hazardous waste disposal, waste incineration and renewable energy projects.
Attaching importance to the Chinese market also stems from the hard struggle of French enterprises in the base camp of Europe.https://www.khnwatertreatment.com/
