Flotation Agent Treatment Of Mineral Processing Wastewater
Feb 25,2020
Mineral processing wastewater has the characteristics of large water volume, high content of suspended solids and more kinds of harmful substances. Its harmful substances are heavy metal ions and beneficiation agents. Heavy metal ions include copper, zinc, lead, nickel, barium, cadmium, arsenic and rare elements.
The flotation reagents added in the beneficiation process are as follows:
(1) For example, rocssme, RO 2pssme, CS (nhc6h5) 2;
(2) Restraining punishment, such as cyanate (KCN, NaCN), sodium silicate (Na2SiO3);
(3) Foaming agent, such as turpentine, cresol (c6h4ch30h);
(4) Active punishment, such as copper sulfate (CuS04), heavy metal salts;
(5) A curing agent, such as sodium sulfide;
(6) Ore pulp regulators, such as sulfuric acid, lime, etc.
The concentration of heavy metals and flotation reagents can also be reduced. If the discharge requirements are not met, further treatment shall be carried out. The common treatment methods are as follows:
(1) Lime neutralization and calcined dolomite adsorption can be used to remove heavy metals;
(2) Ore adsorption and activated carbon adsorption can be used as main flotation reagents;
(3) Chemical oxidation can be used for cyanide containing wastewater
