Slag scraper is used for horizontal sedimentation in sewage treatment plants and waterworks to scrape sludge settled at the bottom of the pond to the scraper of the pump. By scraping through the pump, scraping the sludge while walking, and then discharging the sludge from the pond, the bitterness of cleaning the sludge at the bottom of the pond can be eliminated. When installing the slag scraper, the rail steel pre-embedded iron is reserved on both sides of the wall top of the advection pool, one meter per piece. Bolts and pressing plates are made at both ends of each pre-embedded iron so as to press the rail firmly.

Then the equipment is hoisted to the advection pool, four walking wheels are placed on the rails, leveled according to the datum line, and the installation dimensions are checked. The suspension cable is fed into the steel wire rope with a sling ring, and the steel wire rope is tightened and fixed on the posts at both ends. Connect the main cable, debug the running condition, install the travel switch and touch block, and install the anti-drop baffle according to the return parking space.

After the installation, the empty equipment runs for at least 8 hours without interruption. Check whether there is any derailment. Once found, stop the car in time to prevent the equipment from falling into the pool. When the car body is running, the scraper scrapes the sludge into the sludge collecting pit. When the car runs backward, it is also pulled by the wire rope. Under the action of the connecting parts, the scraper turns upward, the scraper lifts up and returns to the starting point.
