Regeneration cycle of soft water equipment

Soft water equipment mainly contains softened water resin which can absorb calcium and magnesium ions. However, in order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment and the effect of water production, it is necessary to conduct regular back washing of the soft water resin to prevent the resin from saturating and affecting the final water softening effect. The back cleaning of softened water resin is generally divided into two ways: reverse flow regeneration and forward flow regeneration.

Regeneration cycle = periodic water production ÷ rated water output

For example, 1t pure water equipment, cycle water production = 24t,

Working for 8 hours, rated water output = 8t, 24 / 8 = 3, i.e. regeneration once every 3 days.

Working for 12 hours, rated water output = 12t, 24 / 12 = 2, i.e. regeneration once every 2 days.
