In order to study the treatment process of coking wastewater, we first need to know what is coking wastewater. It is a kind of water used in the initial cooling of coke oven gas and coking production process or a kind of wastewater condensed by steam, which is toxic and difficult to degrade organic wastewater. There are two main sources of this kind of waste water. On the one hand, it comes from the residual ammonia waste water, which is produced in the process of coal pyrolysis. The residual ammonia water is the main source of coking waste water because of its complex composition and high concentration of pollutants. On the other hand, it comes from phenol water, which is mainly produced in the process of gas purification. The pollution of phenol water is relatively low.
