Maintenance of reverse osmosis membrane
Sep 13,2018
The importance of maintenance is greater than that of maintenance. Reasonable maintenance can extend the service life of the membrane.
I. short term maintenance
Before the system is shut down, low pressure (0.2-0.4 MPa) and large flow (approximately equal to the water yield of the system) are used to flush the system for 14-16 minutes.
2. Long-term outage maintenance
Before shutdown, the system is washed with low pressure (0.2-0.4 MPa) and large flow (approximately equal to the water yield of the system) for 14-16 minutes; chemical cleaning is carried out according to the method of chemical cleaning in the operating instructions of the reverse osmosis system; after chemical cleaning, the reverse osmosis membrane is washed; 0.5% formalin solution is prepared, and low pressure is used. In the input system, circulate for 10 minutes; close all the valves of the system and seal them.
If the system is suspended for more than 10 days, formalin solution should be replaced every 10 days.
3. Low temperature shutdown maintenance (t≤5℃)
Before shutdown, the system is washed with low pressure (0.2-0.4 MPa) and large flow (approximately equal to the water yield of the system) for 14-16 minutes. Where conditions permit, the ambient temperature can be raised to more than 5 degrees Celsius, and then the system is maintained in accordance with the method of 1. If the ambient temperature is raised unconditionally, the system will be under low pressure (0.1 MPa) and the flow rate will be increased. In order to prevent the reverse osmosis membrane from being frozen out and keep the system running for 2 hours a day, the reverse osmosis membrane was cleaned according to the methods of 12 and 3 in 1, and then the reverse osmosis membrane was removed and moved to the place where the ambient temperature was higher than 5 C and soaked in 0.5% formalin solution. Once every two days, the water in the system pipes should be discharged clean to prevent system damage caused by ice.
4. Exclude membrane gas.
1. When the equipment is emptied, it will run fast and boost up when the gas is not discharged. The remaining air should be exhausted under the pressure of the system, and then step up operation step by step.
2. When the joint between the pretreatment equipment and the high-pressure pump is not well sealed or leaking, when the pretreatment water supply is not enough, such as the precision filter clogging, in the bad sealing place because of the vacuum will suck in part of the air. Micron filters should be cleaned or replaced to ensure no leakage.
5. Shutdown operation
1. when the shutdown is fast, the blood pressure is not thoroughly washed. Because the concentration of inorganic salt on the membrane concentrated water is higher than that in raw water, it is easy to foul and contaminate the membrane. When you are ready to turn off, step down to about 3bar, rinse with pre treated water for 14~16 minutes.
2. When preparing to shut down, adding chemical reagents will make the reagents stay in the membrane and membrane shell, causing membrane fouling and affecting the service life of the membrane. We should stop adding.
