Electrocoagulation for wastewater treatment is widely used

Jun 07,2019

Electroflocculation wastewater treatment system, including pH adjustment cell, reaction cell, conveying pump, Electrocoagulation wastewater treatment device, pH return cell, coagulation tank, solid-liquid separation device and water production pump; sewage treatment according to injection of heavy metal wastewater pH adjustment tubular electrochemical wastewater treatment Al (OH) 3 reactive coagulation intermediate tank solid-liquid separation water production Because the pipeline of the Electrocoagulation wastewater treatment device is multi-stage, the upstream end of each pipeline is equipped with a detection valve, and the downstream end is equipped with a dosing valve, so that any pipeline section can be added medicaments, and different medicaments can be added in different pipeline sections and different processes to meet the treatment needs, which can greatly improve the sewage treatment effect and shrink. Short reaction time.

At present, there are the following traditional methods for the treatment of electroplating heavy metal wastewater before reuse:

1. Precipitation method: that is, by adding chemicals to form metal oxide precipitation or metal oxide coprecipitation on the formed precipitate, so as to achieve the purpose of removing heavy metal ions. To a certain extent, this method has some shortcomings, such as difficult to reach the standard of effluent after treatment, slow settling of sludge and difficult dehydration.

2. Adsorption: The metal ions are adsorbed on the adsorbent by exchanging with the ions or functional groups in the adsorbent. The shortcomings of this method are: some adsorbents have low capacity, are difficult to regenerate, and have few reuse times.

3. Ion exchange method: Removal of heavy metal oxides under certain conditions by example exchange resin. The disadvantage of this method is that the quality of wastewater is strict and the cost is high.

4. Membrane Separation: Membrane Separation is a new method to separate, purify and concentrate mixtures by using selective films driven by external forces. The technology of treating heavy metal wastewater by this method is still immature and needs further study.
