1. In the pretreatment stage, the solid content of the original slurry is generally very low. Gravity sedimentation or other methods should be used to increase the slurry concentration to reduce the processing cost. The commonly used pretreatment method is: mixing the concentrated sludge with a high-molecular flocculant, and the material under the action of the flocculant, fine particles agglomerate and initially settle. This is the preparation condition for the sludge to be dewatered on the machine.

2. In the gravity dehydration stage, the flocculated pretreated sludge is added to the filter belt. Under the action of gravity, the free water outside the floc is filtered through the filter belt, which reduces the water content of the sludge.

3. In the wedge-shaped pre-pressure dehydration stage, the sludge begins to enter the wedge-shaped squeezing section after gravity dehydration, and the gap between the filter belts gradually narrows. Squeezing and shearing of sludge are started to dewater the sludge again. After this period, the sludge fluidity is almost completely lost, thereby ensuring that the sludge will not be squeezed out in the squeeze dewatering section under normal circumstances.

4. During the squeeze dehydration stage, the sludge is repeatedly squeezed and sheared by a well-designed squeeze roller system to remove a large amount of capillary action water, so that the sludge moisture is gradually reduced to form a sludge filter cake, which is separated in a reselected filter belt The filter cake was scraped off by the discharge scraper. After the discharge, the filter cloth was washed and entered the next cycle.

1. Chemical pretreatment dehydration

In order to improve the dewaterability of sludge, improve the properties of filter cake, and increase the permeability of materials, chemical treatment of sludge is required. This machine uses a unique "water flocculation and granulation mixer" device to achieve chemical dosing and flocculation. Function, this method not only has good flocculation effect, but also saves a large amount of chemicals, has low running cost and obvious economic benefits.

2. Gravity concentration dehydration section

The sludge is evenly fed into the mesh belt through the cloth bucket, and the sludge runs forward with the filter belt. The free water flows into the water receiving tank through the filter belt under its own weight. The free water in the medium reduces the fluidity of the sludge and prepares it for further extrusion.

3. Pre-pressure dewatering section in wedge zone

The fluidity of the sludge after gravity dehydration is almost completely lost. As the belt filter press moves forward, the distance between the upper and lower filter belts gradually decreases, and the material begins to receive slight pressure. As the filter belt runs, the pressure gradually increases. The role of the wedge-shaped zone is to extend the gravity dehydration time, increase the compression stability of the floc, and prepare for entering the pressure zone.

4. High-pressure dehydration section of squeeze roller

When the material leaves the wedge zone, it enters the pressure zone. The material is squeezed in this zone. The pressure along the running direction of the filter belt increases with the decrease of the diameter of the squeeze roller. The squeezed volume of the material shrinks and the free water in the gap is squeezed out. At this time, a filter cake is basically formed, and the water content of the filter cake can be reduced to a lower level after continuing to the high pressure region of the pressure tail after high pressure.

5. Material discharge

After the above stages of dehydration treatment, the materials form a filter cake and are discharged. They are scraped off by a scraper, the upper and lower filter belts are separated, and high-pressure washing water is used to remove trace materials between the screen holes and continue to the next dehydration cycle.
