Installation and trial operation of Industrial Cartridge Filters
Sep 17,2018
1. Equipment installation
1.1. Equipment in place:
The filter is slowly suspended on the civil foundation, aligned with the anchor bolt, and adjusted to the level, to meet the installation requirements of the axial dimension after fixing.
1.2. Connecting pipes
The inlet and outlet of the shell are connected with the pipeline of the filter system. When connecting, pay attention to the direction to ensure that the filter cartridge is in the state of water inlet from outside and water outlet from inside.
1.3 Equipment cleaning
Clean up the upstream and downstream equipment and pipes to avoid a large number of pollutants into the filter element, reduce the service life of the filter element, and even damage the filter element.
1.4. Dismantling the head:
After removing the large flange of the upper head, moving or lifting the upper head, the microfiltration elements are respectively loaded into the reserved position.
1.5. Filter element installation
Open the plastic bag at the open end of the filter element to check that the O-ring is in good condition and in place. Then wet the O-ring and the socket of the filter element with water. Holding the filter element close to one end of the O ring, the filter insert is vertically inserted into the filter core socket.
1.6. Fixed head
After all the filter elements are inserted, remove the filter packing bag, fasten the pressure plate and fix it, and then install the metal cover.
2. Trial run
2.1. Deflation
Open the vent valve at the top of the housing, slightly open the inlet valve, so that the liquid enters the housing, until the liquid benefits from the vent valve at the top of the housing, then close the vent valve.
2.2. Trial run
Slowly adjust the downstream outlet valve until fully open. Slowly adjust the opening of the inlet valve until it is fully opened with a pressure drop of 0.02 Mpa between the upstream and downstream of the filter.
2.3. Observe and record liquid import and export pressure at any time, and the range of pressure difference is 0.01-0.1MPa. When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the liquid filter is more than 0.1 MPa, the cleaning process of the filter element is needed to reduce the pressure drop.
3. Operation notes
3.1. To prevent instantaneous large flow of filter core damage.
The filter element is easy to damage under the condition of low pressure and instantaneous flow. Therefore, the filter liquid outlet valve and by-pass valve should be closed before driving, and the liquid inlet valve should be opened slowly. When the pipeline pressure rises to 1/2 working pressure, the outlet valve should be opened slowly, so that the filter element can not be used under the condition of low pressure and instantaneous large flow rate.
3.2. Regular discharge
When the whole system works normally, the impurities separated by the filter settle down to the bottom of the lower head of the filter under the action of gravity, and must be discharged periodically from the sewage outlet.
3.3. Prevent reverse flow.
When the system suddenly breaks down and shuts down, the instantaneous reverse high-speed liquid will flow back into the filter. The filter element will be damaged or blown up by the impulse. Therefore, a check valve should be installed on the outlet pipe of the filter.
3.4. When the pressure drop between upstream and downstream of the filter is greater than 0.3 Mpa or the flow rate is significantly decreased, the filter element should be replaced.
